About
What teams bring me in to own
I'm a senior Flutter engineer in Giza, Egypt. Teams hand me the layer that decides whether the product ships: client-side cryptography, real-time voice and video, and the native iOS and Android code underneath both. A bug there surfaces as a dropped call or a message nobody can read.
Since 2022 I've owned that layer inside an enterprise, self-hosted, end-to-end encrypted messenger: the encryption engine, the calling SDK, and the release engineering that turns one codebase into separately branded builds for each customer, on iOS, Android, macOS, Windows and Web.
Before that I freelanced for two years and shipped 26 apps to the App Store and Play Store: e-commerce, transport, real estate, education. Twenty-six release cycles taught me which architectural shortcuts cost you in year two.
When I join a codebase I read the data layer first. Screens stay cheap to change. How an app stores, syncs and secures its data sets the ceiling on what you can build for the next two years, and rebuilding it later costs a quarter.
I studied Computer Technology at Don Bosco Institute, and I work in Arabic, English and Italian.
